Intermediate Structural Engineer

We’re looking for a talented Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our Auckland team. You’ll design seismic-resilient structures using concrete, steel, and timber with opportunities to take ownership of projects. This role offers hands-on involvement in diverse, high-impact projects that drive New Zealand's built environment forward.

Your Role:

• Deliver structural designs compliant with NZ standards for timber, concrete, and steel, including conceptual and detailed phases.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and documentation in our Core system.
• Conduct site visits and ensure constructability and quality across all deliverables.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams through clear, professional communication.
• Mentor juniors, share learnings, and pursue ongoing professional development (e.g., annual training and conferences).

About You:

• 4–6 years post-graduate experience, including reinforced concrete and 2+ years in NZ seismic design.
• BE Civil (Structural) or equivalent; proficient in NZ design standards and principles.
• Experience with ETABS and/or Space Gass.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for client-facing work, team collaboration, and mentoring.
• Proactive, organised, solutions-focused mindset. 
• Eager to embrace innovation and help integrate AI tools into engineering workflows.
