Enthusiastic and nurturing Early Childhood Education student currently completing a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) at NZTC. Gaining hands-on practical experience as a Student Teacher at Mighty Minds Bucklands Beach, where I support the holistic development of children through play-based learning. Passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and stimulating environments that foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in young children.

Student Teacher at Mighty Minds Early Childhood Centre (2024-01 – Present)

• Support qualified teachers in delivering engaging, play-based programmes for children aged 0–5
• Assist with planning and implementing activities aligned with Te Whāriki principles
• Build positive, responsive relationships with children, families, and whanau
• Observe and document children's learning using learning stories and portfolios
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment that meets licensing requirements
• Collaborate with the teaching team during staff meetings and professional development
