Junior System and Database Administrator - Bank of Polynesia

• Built automated deployment workflows in Ansible, Jenkins and Bash covering VM provisioning with LVM storage, application and database configuration and security compliance checks, reducing GLPI deployment from approximately five hours to one hour. Authored around 25 further automation scripts covering backups, log rotation, patching and Zabbix monitoring checks, saving an estimated two to four hours per cycle.
• Administered four to five production RHEL and CentOS servers and two MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, covering instance setup, access configuration, backups, schema migration and automated SQL reporting through cron and Jenkins.
• Designed and automated a business-critical payment and receipt processing workflow, replacing a daily 15 to 20 minute routine and a monthly three to eight hour manual process. Supported users with application, database and Active Directory issues, resolving incidents independently, collaborating with senior colleagues on complex cases, and documenting recurring fixes to reduce repeat support effort.

System Administrator Intern - Bank of Polynesia

• Built two RHEL 8 servers from bare virtual machine to running HTTPS application, designing the LVM storage layout, hardening both against CIS Benchmarks, and configuring an active/passive HAProxy load balancer with the full TLS certificate process end to end.
• Migrated the bank's GLPI service management platform from end-of-life CentOS 7 to RHEL 8, converting 190 tables to timestamps and the database to utf8mb4 with no data loss on a project a previous attempt had failed to deliver. Diagnosed a long-standing image loading defect through application and Apache log analysis, resolved it with an Apache rewrite rule, and authored four parameterised Bash scripts, converted to Jinja2 templates, extending the bank's Ansible playbook and Jenkins pipelines for
