As a health assistant/ respite Carer my duties were to have day to day care of my best friend and helping her through her journey of huntingtins and communicating her cares with her family, assisting with personal cares as well and taking her to all medical appointments etc. also providing her with person centered care and keeping her dignity attached giving her the best care I could while her husband was at work, also providing respite cares and over night stays to give her family a break. And helping her family understand more about her condition and guiding them.
