Jordan Devoy

I am currently in my first-year of a Bachelor of Science with a major in Environmental Science and a minor in Agribusiness. I am comfortable with talking to people of all ages and confident in social settings. I appreciate learning new things and am proud of my punctuality and responsibility. I prefer working as part of a group and participate in a variety of team sports, including volleyball and netball. I am also capable of working on my own. I am a typically cheerful person with a can-do attitude who likes fixing problems and finding answers.

Salvation Army, Hamilton - Volunteer

• I worked on a team of volunteers who packed food parcels for the Salvation Army Foodbank once a month. This involved making up boxes of grocery items ensuring the contents were consistent, sealing and stacking the boxes, and refilling empty shelves. 
• I largely worked unsupervised and pitched in to do whatever jobs were required. 

DairyNZ, Hamilton - Promotional Assistant 

• Interacting with children and their parents and promoting careers in the primary sector.

I have completed NCEA Levels 1, 2 and 3 and I have almost finished my first year of studying Environmental Science at Waikato University
