Please let me introduce myself. I am a finance and fintech professional with more than 20 years of experience working across international markets. My background covers finance, payments, fintech, digital assets, AML/KYC, legal & compliance, risk analysis, business development and cross-border financial services.
I have worked in different countries and business environments, including Europe and Asia, and have been directly involved in building and managing businesses rather than working only within one specialised function. I have experience at senior management and CEO level, where I have been responsible for business strategy, operations, partnerships, product development, compliance and international expansion.
A major part of my career has been in fintech and financial services. I have worked with payment systems, digital-asset businesses, KYC and AML processes, cross-border transactions and financial technology platforms. This has given me a practical understanding of both the commercial side of financial services and the regulatory requirements that come with it.
One of my strengths is that I can work across different areas of a business. I can discuss business strategy with management, work through regulatory and compliance issues with legal and compliance teams, and work with technology teams on the practical requirements of a financial product or platform. I am comfortable taking responsibility for a problem and working through it until there is a practical solution.
My international experience is also important to me. I have worked with people from different countries and backgrounds and have dealt with banks, payment providers, technology companies, business partners and other financial-service stakeholders. I am used to working in situations where the regulatory environment, market conditions and business practices are different from one country to another.
I have a particular interest in areas where finance and technology are changing quickly, including fintech, payments, digital assets and financial compliance. I enjoy understanding how a business works, identifying what needs to be improved, and finding a realistic way to move things forward.
At this stage of my career, I am looking for a role where I can make use of my broad experience rather than being limited to one narrow area. I believe I can add value in senior roles involving fintech, financial services, payments, AML/KYC, compliance, digital assets, business development, product strategy or international business.
