Job Requirements

Mandatory Technical Skills

• IBM ESB / Integration Broker

Strong hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), or equivalent IBM ESB technology.

Experience developing message flows, integration services, routing, and message transformation.

Knowledge of ESQL, message models, exception handling, and integration patterns.

Experience with broker configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.

IBM MQ

Strong knowledge of IBM MQ architecture and messaging concepts.

Experience configuring queue managers, local/remote queues, transmission queues, channels, listeners, and clusters.

Knowledge of message persistence, transactions, dead-letter queues, and message recovery.

Ability to troubleshoot connectivity, channel, message delivery, and queue-depth issues.

IBM DataPower

Hands-on experience configuring and supporting IBM DataPower Gateway.

Knowledge of Multi-Protocol Gateway, Web Service Proxy, API Gateway, and XML Firewall services, as applicable to the deployed version.

Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, SOAP, REST, TLS/SSL, certificates, and security policies.

Understanding of API authentication, authorization, message validation, routing, and transformation.

Middleware Operations and Support

Experience in middleware installation, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Understanding of high availability, load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery.

Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands, shell scripting, log analysis, and IT service management processes.

Experience in financial services, banking, telecom, or other large-scale enterprise integration environments. Knowledge of API security standards, OAuth 2.0, mutual TLS, and certificate management.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and version control tools such as Git. Familiarity with application monitoring and enterprise observability tools. Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, or hybrid integration environments.

Experience in performance tuning, capacity planning, and middleware platform upgrades. 10+ years of overall IT experience, with substantial hands-on experience in enterprise middleware. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
