Required Qualifications & Skills

· Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Java enterprise application development.

· Strong hands-on experience with Java and Java Enterprise technologies.

· Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

· Strong experience developing RESTful APIs.

· Experience developing applications using microservices architecture.

· Strong frontend development experience using Angular.

· Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.

· Experience with Hibernate, JPA or similar persistence frameworks.

· Experience working with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases.

· Experience with Git-based source-code management.

· Experience with Maven or similar build-management tools.

· Working knowledge of Docker and containerised application deployment.

· Experience with unit-testing frameworks and automated testing practices.

· Understanding of Spring Security, authentication and authorisation.

· Experience in application debugging, performance optimisation and code review.

· Ability to understand functional requirements and convert them into working software.

· Ability to prepare clear and complete technical documentation.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

· Exposure to Apache Kafka or other messaging technologies.

· Experience with Apache Camel or similar integration frameworks.

· Experience with Single Sign-On solutions.

· Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.

· Experience developing dashboards and workflow-based applications.

· Experience with application monitoring and centralised logging tools.

· Experience in large-scale enterprise or government software implementations.

· Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments.

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

· Relevant Java, Angular or cloud certifications are an added advantage.
