The other areas of responsibilities:

Supervise the activities of the Instrument personnel exercising supervisory authority as required.
Receive work orders, allocates work to individual technicians, and liaises with maintenance planning for daily work schedules.
Supervises the work of the personnel to ensure quality, minimizing down time and completion of work as per plan.
Carries out Stock Planning, Monitors current stock levels of spares, places stock orders through the Instrument Superintendent to ensure that the operation of the section is not hampered.
Resolves complex operational situations, interfacing with other sections and provides assistance with the knowledge, skill and experience in activities.
Updates knowledge of all Instrument control distribution systems in the Refinery
Participates in the training and development of Instrument trainees as directed by the supervisor.
