Supervise the distribution of food trays to patients in accordance with present schedules.
Checks individual trays, ensures that in-patients receive their meals and snacks according to standards set by the catering company and the MOH.
Ensures that food trays meet the sanitary standards set by the hospital.
Checks taste, temperature and display of food prior serving to patients and ensures that it meets with patient's dietary request.
Makes regular round in dry storage areas, freezers, refrigerators and food preparation areas. Ensure proper sanitation, cleanliness and reports to dietician in charge and company food catering supervisor.
Maintain and improves standard of sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils and premises.
Ensures that set standards on personnel hygiene are applied, include self-cleanliness and clean clothing. Keeps a record on regular medical check-up of kitchen staff.

Community Dietetic Technician at Royal Hospital (2001-01 – 2003-12)

Participated in the capacity of longitudinal screening team as a community dietetic technician to perform the national study on the role of care in the nutritional status of children under 2 years old in Oman, WHO.
