Senior Node.js + TypeScript Engineer at BairesDev

Join as a Senior Backend Engineer to work on data infrastructure using Node.js and TypeScript. You'll contribute to technical projects and work with engineering teams on data flows and distributed systems. This role combines hands-on development with technical problem-solving. If you enjoy working with autonomy, solving challenges, and building systems that handle data seamlessly, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to architectural decisions for data projects and multi-tenant data flows.
• Design and implement data pipelines and graph-based data structures.
• Support observability strategy for distributed systems.
• Collaborate with engineers on best practices for data architecture and interoperability.

What we are looking for

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with Node.js.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience building data pipelines and API interoperability.
• Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Advanced level of English.

Nice to have

• Experience with buffer systems such as Redis.
• Familiarity with message queues such as SQS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Datadog or similar platforms.
• Background in multi-tenant data architecture.
• Hands-on work with serverless functions such as AWS Lambda.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Understanding of Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with schema validation tools.
• Knowledge of event-driven patterns, including webhooks or data sync.
• DevOps and CI/CD familiarity.
