API Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced API Developer with strong Data Engineering experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs that enable seamless integration between systems and applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with backend development, data pipelines, and working within Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• Ensure API performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate APIs with internal platforms, databases, and third-party services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API and data integration issues.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years experience in API development or backend engineering.
• Strong experience with RESTful API development.
• Hands-on Data Engineering experience (data pipelines, ETL, data integration).
• Experience with backend languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
