Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Executive Operations is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the operation and continuous improvement of cloud environments. This role is focused on building and supporting a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) and requires a well-rounded engineer who can operate across both cloud infrastructure and application support layers.

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for managing core cloud components including compute, storage, networking, and security, while also supporting and troubleshooting cloud-hosted applications. This position requires strong hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and the capability to work across teams in a production environment.

• *Key Responsibilities:**

· Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, and security domains

· Support and troubleshoot cloud-hosted applications, identifying and resolving issues across infrastructure and application layers

· Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent

· Perform end-to-end troubleshooting of production issues, including load balancing, networking, and service availability

· Monitor cloud environments and ensure performance, reliability, and high availability

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application teams to resolve issues and improve systems

· Apply cloud security best practices including identity management, access control, and data protection

· Contribute to building standardized processes, frameworks, and best practices as part of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE)

· Take operational ownership of cloud environments, ensuring stability and continuous improvement

• *Required Qualifications:**

· 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud operations, or a related role

· Strong understanding of cloud fundamentals including compute, storage, networking, and security

· Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)

· Solid networking knowledge including load balancers, routing, DNS, and connectivity

· Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud environments and production systems

· Experience supporting and debugging cloud-hosted applications

· Ability to work across both infrastructure and application layers

· Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments

• *Preferred Qualifications:**

· Experience contributing to or working within a Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE)

· Familiarity with cloud monitoring and observability tools

· Understanding of load balancing concepts and distributed systems behavior

· Scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash, or similar)

· Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices
