Location: Quezon City, Philippines

Work Setup: Once a week onsite

Job Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to build, maintain, and enhance web applications using modern JavaScript, Node.js, Firebase, and Firestore.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern JavaScript (ES2022+), vanilla ES modules, Node.js 22, and Firebase.
• Build and manage backend services using Firebase Cloud Functions, Express.js, and Firestore triggers.
• Design and optimize Firestore data models, queries, indexes, and subcollections.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, session management, and access controls using Firebase Authentication and security rules.
• Maintain integrations and communication between multiple applications using secure server-to-server APIs.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces without relying on a component library.
• Implement application features related to HR, payroll, recruitment, attendance, billing, and other business processes.
• Write, test, debug, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable application code.
• Manage deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain application environments using Firebase CLI and related tools.
• Collaborate with the team through Git branching, pull requests, code reviews, and established development workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong JavaScript (ES2022+) fundamentals, including vanilla JS and ES modules. No frontend framework required.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js 22, Express.js, Firebase Cloud Functions, and Firestore.
• Knowledge of database modeling, API integration, authentication, and application security.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, testing tools, and Firebase deployments.
• Experience in Philippine HR/payroll, recruitment, attendance, or billing systems is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Docker, GCP, and Gemini API is a plus.
