Full Stack Web Developer. Australian Technology & Digital Platform Industry
Join an Australian technology company building and expanding a digital platform designed to support businesses and merchants through scalable web applications. This role sits at the core of the platform’s backend development, helping strengthen system architecture, build reliable APIs, and improve performance as the platform continues to grow. You will be working on a live application with an active development roadmap, collaborating closely with the technical team to evolve the product and support future mobile integrations.
This is a remote opportunity open to Philippine-based developers who want to work on a real, evolving SaaS-style platform and contribute directly to its architecture and scalability. Remote work for Philippine-based candidates only. Full-time role. 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Morning shift aligned with AU timezone. Philippine tax and government contributions compliant employment.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP and modern web technologies
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications
- Develop backend services using Node.js where required
- Design and optimise database structures using MySQL / SQL
- Integrate third-party services such as payment systems and business platforms
- Improve system performance, reliability, and application security
- Implement authentication and authorization frameworks
- Deploy and manage application updates in production environments
- Work closely with the mobile developer to support API integrations
- Maintain clean version control and development workflows using Git
What We’re Looking For . You’re the Perfect Fit If You
- Have 3 years of commercial experience as a Full Stack or Backend Web Developer
- Demonstrate strong PHP development experience (Laravel highly preferred)
- Have solid JavaScript and Node.js backend development experience
- Are experienced building and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Have strong MySQL / SQL database design and optimisation skills
- Are comfortable working with Git version control systems
- Have experience working with AWS or cloud hosting environments (preferred)
- Understand scalable application architecture and secure coding practices
- Write clean, structured, and well-documented code
