Join an Australian technology company building and expanding a digital platform designed to support businesses and merchants through scalable web applications. This role sits at the core of the platform’s backend development, helping strengthen system architecture, build reliable APIs, and improve performance as the platform continues to grow. You will be working on a live application with an active development roadmap, collaborating closely with the technical team to evolve the product and support future mobile integrations.

This is a remote opportunity open to Philippine-based developers who want to work on a real, evolving SaaS-style platform and contribute directly to its architecture and scalability. Remote work for Philippine-based candidates only. Full-time role. 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Morning shift aligned with AU time zone. Philippine tax and government contributions compliant employment.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP and modern web technologies
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications
• Develop backend services using Node.js where required
• Design and optimize database structures using MySQL / SQL
• Integrate third-party services such as payment systems and business platforms
• Improve system performance, reliability, and application security
• Implement authentication and authorization frameworks
• Deploy and manage application updates in production environments
• Work closely with the mobile developer to support API integrations
• Maintain clean version control and development workflows using Git
