🛠️ Your Day-to-Day
- Engage across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support of enterprise applications.
- Work independently or collaboratively within a team to solve technically challenging software engineering problems and deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.
- Interpret business and technical requirements to develop new features and maintain existing applications using Agile processes and best practices.
- Provide application support, troubleshooting, testing, and performance profiling to ensure system reliability and security.
- Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, process documentation, and design specifications.
- Perform risk assessments, deployment activities, and post-deployment support.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Track and report on project performance, identifying risks, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong full-stack development experience using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build secure and high-performance web applications.
- Hands-on experience with frameworks and tools such as Laravel, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with Linux, MySQL, MS SQL, and Nginx as development platforms.
- Solid hands-on experience integrating with APIs.
- Working knowledge of the full SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, automated testing, and deployment practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Proactive, deadline-driven, and able to work efficiently and independently.
- Ability to provide guidance and recommendations on implementation best practices.
Desirable Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of Docker and the Apache web server.
- Experience using Postman and SoapUI, including an understanding of SOAP-based services.
- Knowledge of shell scripting on Linux platforms.
Qualifications & Education
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
