Java Developer L2

Job Mandate To assist in the delivery and maintenance of application solutions by developing code changes, supporting technology upgrades, participating in testing activities, and resolving defects to ensure application stability and operational effectiveness

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in technical review and capacity planning activities to gain an understanding of application performance, scalabi lity, and operational requirements
• Analyze and implement code changes under guidance to address obsolete components and support compatibility with technology upgrades (e.g., Java, Tomcat, and related platforms).
• Knowledgeable in SQL databases, including database querying, data analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Work closely with Systems Analysts and senior team members to identify application and database impacts, supporting assessment and regression testing activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application defects to ensure system stability and compliance with business requirements.
