Java Developer (Mid Level)

About the role: We are looking for a motivated Java Developer with at least 3 years of experience in Java application development. If you are passionate about building scalable applications, developing RESTful services, and working with modern Java technologies.

Work Location: Quezon City

Work Setup: Hybrid

Work Shift: Night Shift

Contract Duration: 1.3 years (extendable depending on performance and client needs)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Develop and integrate REST and SOAP web services.
• Build and maintain microservice-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and application support.
• Work with version control systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Java application development.
• Solid experience in JavaWeb (J2EE) development.
• Solid experience developing REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Solid experience with Apache Kafka.
• Knowledge of J2EE, HTTP Protocol, JAX-RS, REST Frameworks (Spring Boot, Jersey, or RestEasy), OAuth Security, Git/RTC, Clean Code principles, and SQL/MySQL.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and Concepts is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
