🛠️ Your Day-to-Day
- Participate in a wide range of enterprise application activities, including operations, design, and development across the entire SDLC.
- Work independently or collaboratively to solve complex software engineering challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
- Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and testing for enterprise applications.
- Interpret requirements and develop new features while maintaining existing technologies using Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, process documents, and design specifications.
- Perform analysis, development, testing, profiling, risk assessments, deployment, and overall application support.
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Track and report on project performance, identifying risks, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong core Java expertise, including EJB, design patterns, JPA, Hibernate, and Maven.
- Extensive hands-on experience with middleware solutions using Java technologies.
- Solid experience integrating with SOAP and REST web services.
- Working knowledge of the full SDLC, CI/CD, Git, and automated testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to high‑quality output.
- Proactive, able to meet deadlines efficiently, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to provide guidance on implementation best practices.
Desirable Skills & Competencies:
- Experience with application servers such as JBoss or WildFly.
- Working knowledge of Linux, Postman, SoapUI, and Spring Boot is an advantage.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PHP or shell scripting.
Qualifications & Education:
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
