This is a full-time, on-site Java Developer role located in Metro Cebu.

The Java

Developer will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, deep knowledge of Java and related technologies, and an ability to work with foreign team members while collaborating across functions. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement robust backend systems using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate).

Contribute to architecture, design patterns, and best practices for enterprise-level applications.

Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including DevOps, QA, and Product Management—to deliver reliable and performant software.

Optimize application performance and scalability through profiling, tuning, and refactoring.

Lead and mentor junior developers; provide technical guidance and support.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to planning and estimation.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and industry trends. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or any related field

Java (8+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring Shell Frameworks/Tools:

Hibernate, JDBC, QueryDSL, MapStruct, Selenium WebDriver, ExtentReports,

PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, MS SQL, Liquibase, Flyway

DevOps & Cloud Platforms:

AWS (RDS, IoT), Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Concourse CI, HashiCorp Vault, Grafana, Wavefront
