Java/ J2EE Developer_ Java 17 and Java 21 version is a must with Angular

Location: Makati City

Job Type: Hybrid, 2 days work from office / week

Responsibilities

• Involved in all phases of software development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, integration, testing, maintenance and support.
• Contributes to requirement (functional and non-functional) analysis and estimations
• Builds up software structure including functions, design patterns, layers, etc.
• Designs and codes autonomously complex functions and full modules, within agreed quality, deadline and cost; asking for support of experienced peer when needed
• Applies knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Performs technical support and basic troubleshooting.
• Supports software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by responding to scope changes, implementation of bug fixes, and coding software enhancements
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing code comments, layouts, diagrams and charts
• Reports on progress and risks, proposing changes in plans when appropriate
• Participates in workshop with customer and external parties
• Coaches less experienced software developers

Profile & Other Information

Experience & background:

• 3+ years of experience in JavaEE software development.
• Solid understanding of OOP.
• Has experience with agile development methodologies.
• JavaEE, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• One or more third-party front-end library like Angular, ReactJS and Vue
• Webservices (RESTful and SOAP)
• Data persistence techniques including relational and non-relational DB (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL,MongoDB, Cassandra and/or Redis)
• Knowledgeable in Linux and open-source technologies, design patterns
