Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and driven Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide technical leadership while actively contributing to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are delivered efficiently, reliably, and in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to development team members.
• Guide the team toward successful and timely project delivery.
• Design, develop, and unit test applications based on established standards and best practices.
• Maintain high standards of software quality by enforcing good development practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to plan, design, and implement solutions.
• Assist in requirements gathering, estimation, and work planning activities.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and application issues.
• Develop, refine, and optimize system integrations.
• Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and code.
• Package and support deployment of application releases.
• Identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
• Provide third-level support to business users when needed.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and manuals.
• Support system migration and enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

At least 5 years of professional Java development experience.

Strong experience in enterprise application development.

Exposure to Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.

Experience in software design, architecture, and implementation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Banking or financial services industry experience is an advantage.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
