About The Role The TechOps Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, reliability, and performance of the organization’s production infrastructure and internal technology platforms. This role ensures that systems are highly available, secure, scalable, and efficiently managed while supporting engineering teams in delivering stable and resilient services. The TechOps Lead works closely with DevOps, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Productions, and Operations teams to maintain operational excellence, improve system reliability, and strengthen the organization’s operational posture.

General Responsibilities

Reliability & Incident Management Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues. Ensure proper incident documentation, post-mortems, and corrective actions. Drive improvements in system reliability, uptime, and operational resilience. Maintain service uptime and reliability targets (SLAs/SLOs).

Operational

Automation & Efficiency

Identify opportunities to automate operational workflows and reduce manual processes. Improve operational tooling for monitoring, logging, and infrastructure management. Implement automation for system provisioning, patching, and configuration management.

Security & Compliance Support Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure infrastructure follows secure configuration and hardening standards. Support vulnerability remediation and infrastructure security improvements. Ensure systems comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Platform

Governance & Standards Define and enforce operational standards, procedures, and best practices

Ensure proper access controls, system auditing, and operational visibility.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor the TechOps team. Coordinate operational activities across infrastructure, DevOps, engineering, and product teams. Promote a culture of operational discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience 5+ years of experience in technology operations, infrastructure, or platform engineering. 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.

Technical Skills

Strong experience managing cloud environments (AWS preferred). Familiarity with containerized environments and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).

Experience with monitoring and observability tools. Familiarity with infrastructure automation and configuration management.

Operational Skills

Strong incident management and troubleshooting capabilities.

Experience implementing operational processes and runbooks. Ability to manage production environments with high reliability requirements.
