## Primary Responsibilities & Expectations

• To assist in the planning, design, development and support of healthcare IT systems and projects in a team-based environment of software developers.
• To help create new applications and support them.
• To assist in supporting the current web based applications and databases for KIRSO.
• Maintenance of existing applications for bug fixes, issues and enhancements.
• Act as a liaison between KIRSO and, subcontractors, industry, hospitals and federal partners.
• Works with the Information Security officers to ensure compliance with all IT Security policies and training, including HIPAA. Work to create and maintain a secure platform for all KIRSO data and applications.
• To foster an environment of heightened security following Information Technology Security Policies and participating in security training, such as the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), on an annual basis.
• To enhance and maintain the registries by employing knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to plan, design, develop and support systems and projects
• To carry out assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures
• To conduct research and analysis and present finding to the Applications Architect for review

## Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development or a related role
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
• *Preferred Technical Skills
• Strong experience with .NET Core
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database design
• Experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core) and/or Dapper
• Front-end development experience using React and JavaScript
• Familiarity with ORM tools such as EF Core and Dapper
• *Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cosmos DB) is a plus
• Prior experience in the healthcare domain is highly desirable
