Role Overview The Project is looking for a mid-level Process Documentation & Training Support Specialist to assist in the rollout of a new core banking platform. This role is focused on producing high-quality operational documentation and providing hands-on support during training and simulation activities to ensure branch and operations readiness.
The specialist will independently develop Job Cards and Desktop Procedures derived from approved business processes, finalized system configurations, and validated UAT or simulation results. These materials will serve as practical, day-to-day references for branch staff, operations teams, and production support during training, conversion, and post-go-live activities.
In addition to documentation, the role will actively support training runs and system simulations by capturing questions, issues, and observations raised by participants, and coordinating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure timely clarification and resolution.
This position is execution- and readiness-focused and does not include responsibilities related to system design, architecture, or configuration decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and maintain Job Cards and Desktop Procedures for end-to-end core banking processes, supporting branch, batch, and operations teams.
- Translate approved process flows, system behavior, and UAT/simulation results into clear, structured, step-by-step operational guides.
- Develop and update training decks and presentation materials for classroom training and system simulations.
- Attend training and simulation sessions to capture issues, questions, and observations, consolidating them into structured logs for follow-up.
- Collaborate with SMEs, business users, IT teams, and vendors to validate documentation and incorporate agreed clarifications or fixes.
- Ensure all documentation reflects the latest process changes, configuration updates, and resolved defects.
- Participate in walkthroughs, dry runs, and knowledge-transfer sessions to support operational readiness and smooth production transition.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in banking operations or bank-related projects, including core banking systems.
- Hands-on exposure to core banking platforms in implementation, migration, UAT, training, or production support.
- Experienced in producing operational documentation (Job Cards, Desktop Procedures, SOPs, runbooks) for business and operations teams.
- Strong understanding of banking functions such as CASA, loans, deposits, teller services, batch, and back-office operations.
- Able to work independently while following documentation standards and templates.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple deliverables in time-sensitive projects.
