Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Python Developer role.
The Python
Developer will design, implement, and maintain backend services that power Pivotly’s AI-automated and human-verified workflows, with a focus on performance, reliability, and security. Daily responsibilities include developing and optimizing APIs, integrating with email, file, and business systems (such as ERP and CRM), and working with databases to manage and transform structured and unstructured data. The role involves collaborating closely with product and operations teams to translate client requirements into robust software solutions, writing clean, testable code, and participating in code reviews.
The Python
Developer will also help improve existing systems, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to technical documentation and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, with deep experience using Python in production environments.
- Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including building and maintaining APIs, working with web frameworks, and integrating external services.
- Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, covering software architecture, testing, debugging, version control, and deployment practices.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Databases, including designing schemas, writing efficient queries, and handling data integrity and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Experience with AI/ML workflows, data extraction from documents, or human-in-the-loop systems is a plus.
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment with clear communication and ownership of deliverables.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
