Role Overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong Python backend expertise and modern UI development experience (Angular/React preferred).

The ideal candidate should have experience in banking or financial services projects, strong full-stack capabilities, and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-compliance environments.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development (Primary Focus)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python
• Build and optimize APIs and microservices architecture
• Integrate with databases, third-party systems, and internal platforms
• Ensure high performance, security, and compliance (especially for banking environments)

Frontend Development (Secondary Focus)

• Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components using Angular (preferred) or React
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver seamless frontend experiences
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and performance optimization

Full Stack Delivery

• Work across the full SDLC (design, development, testing, deployment, support)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product, Architecture)
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and solutioning

Banking/Financial Systems

• Work on applications within banking or financial services environments
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Handle sensitive financial data responsibly

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Python development (backend)
• Hands-on experience with Angular (preferred) or React
• Experience building full stack applications
• Familiarity with:
• REST APIs / Microservices
• SQL/NoSQL databases
• Version control tools (Git)
• CI/CD pipelines

Domain Experience

• Prior experience working on banking or financial services projects is highly preferred
• Understanding of secure coding practices and compliance environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both Angular and React frameworks
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience working in global delivery models

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Strong backend orientation with Python, complemented by frontend capabilities
• Exposure to Macquarie-like or enterprise-grade tech stacks
• Candidates with early notice period availability are strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and handle complex problem-solving scenarios
