About the Role
The Senior Full Stack Developer plays a key role in designing, building, and delivering scalable cloud-native solutions for the GEMS platform. This role requires strong expertise in modern full stack development, microservices architecture, and CI/CD practices to ensure secure, resilient, and high-quality applications aligned with current cloud standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications using microservices, containers, and serverless patterns
- Build front-end and back-end components, APIs, and third-party integrations
- Configure and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
- Implement security, performance optimization, and monitoring best practices
- Produce technical documentation (architecture, runbooks, deployment plans)
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring, and Level 2 production support
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of full stack development experience
- Strong experience with Azure, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Next.js)
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, YAML pipelines, Terraform, and DevOps practices
- Solid API design, security, and integration experience
- Proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions
- Experience working in Agile teams and leading technical discussions
Nice to Have
- TDD and unit testing (Jest, Cucumber)
- Monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog)
- Event-driven architecture and Azure Event Grid
- Power BI, data modeling, or emerging AI technologies
