A Software Developer with strong knowledge in Python, PostgreSQL, and React.js is needed to design, build, and maintain both web-based and desktop applications. This role spans backend logic, database design, and frontend development. The developer will collaborate with the development team to implement full-stack features, write clean and well-documented code, and ensure data integrity across application workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas.
- Build and optimize Python backend modules for database connection, querying, and data manipulation.
- Develop and maintain frontend interfaces using React.js.
- Integrate backend logic and frontend components into existing web and desktop application codebases.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established project patterns and architecture.
- Participate in code reviews and iterative development cycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and connectivity issues.
- Effectively work independently and/or through collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working with React.js.
- Understanding of Python programming principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or relational database systems (schema design, queries, indexing).
- Willing to start ASAP.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming (scripting, OOP, data processing).
- Experience with React.js for frontend development and integration with backend APIs.
- Knowledge in PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Understanding of common data formats (CSV, JSON) is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
- Comfortable working with command-line interfaces (CLI) and related dev tooling is a plus.
- Computer troubleshooting (hardware and software) knowledge/experience is a plus.
