Web Developer

About the Role

We are a client-facing digital agency seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Web Developer to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical partner across a portfolio of clients managing websites, developing high-converting landing pages, resolving performance and security issues, and ensuring every digital touchpoint is fast, functional, and user-friendly.

This is a long-term engagement for the right candidate. We value reliability, responsiveness, and the ability to build lasting working relationships with both our internal team and our clients.

What You'll Do

• Design and build websites and landing pages
• Utilize AI web design and development tools to increase efficiency
• Manage and maintain client websites across multiple CMS platforms, ensuring uptime, performance, and accuracy of domain and hosting configurations
• Build, integrate, and troubleshoot landing pages for paid ad campaigns (Google, Meta, etc.) using tools such as Elementor, Lovable, Divi, ClickFunnels, and HubSpot
• Diagnose and resolve load time, caching, DNS, and other website performance issues quickly and efficiently
• Conduct and respond to security audits, implement firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), reCAPTCHA, and other protective measures
• Manage domain transfers, hosting migrations, and SSL configurations to prevent client downtime
• Implement and maintain tracking infrastructure via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
• Ensure all client websites meet website accessibility standards and copyright regulations
• Communicate proactively with our team when issues arise; response time is critical

• Using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Lovable, Comparable, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate development and reduce errors
• Applying AI-powered SEO and content tools to optimize on-page performance for clients (we can help assist with this)
• Utilizing AI for accessibility audits, automated testing, and performance diagnostics
• Staying current with emerging AI integrations relevant to web development (AI chatbots, personalization tools, automation workflows, etc.)
• Understand the difference between building in AI tools and what is sufficient for SEO
