- Day/night inspection and documenting equipment condition as indicates in maintenance program
- Troubleshooting/analyze hydraulic and mechanical issues
- Identify problems and recommend for immediate action
- Respond to maintenance request of all department regarding to mechanical issues
- Repair, assemble and modify the equipment components, including metal fabrication, Cutting, grinding and welding
- Remove/repair and install the damage/defective component of the equipment such as hydraulic cylinder, hydraulic valves and hoses, pneumatic cylinder, Screw conveyor, chain conveyor, bucket conveyor and its rollers, cross joint and coupling, gearbox, piston pump, furnace wheel, plumber block and bearings, power cable
- Align and replace of (electric arc furnace EAF) and (ladle refining furnace LRF) arm and regulator cylinder
- Able to operate and troubleshoot vertical coil compactor and tying machine
- Able to operate basic conventional lathe machine and drilling
- Work Overhead cranes change wire rope, adjust brakes, repair and assemble of gearbox, brake mechanism, pulleys, thruster motor, hook assembly, grab bucket
- Able to use power tools and precision tools such as grinder, drill machine, bearing induction heater, vernier caliper, feeler guage, bore guage, dial indicator, out side micrometer
- Able to operate forklift mechanical Assembly - San martin Steel Inc./ Steel Asia (Rolling mills) - Villanueva, Misamis Oriental
