• Set-up and perform Radiation Therapy procedures (Simulation, LINAC treatment, assist in CT Scan Planning) in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist
• Explain procedures to patients effectively and ensure comfort and ease during the process
• Communicate calmly, compassionately and professionally with all different types of patients including the young, ailing and handicapped
• Assist patients and report signs of complications as a result of radiation treatment
• Prepare immobilization devices/accessories to be used in treatment planning and implementation of patient's radiation treatment
• Check treatment prescription to ensure accuracy of radiation dosage and delivery while minimizing errors
• Provide portal check films for verification of treatment fields of all new patients and any modifications done on the treatment plan
• Record and verify daily treatment data on patient's chart and maintain accurate records
• Conduct warm up of radiotherapy equipment before using it
• Deliver therapeutic radiation in accordance with prescription and instruction provided by the radiation oncologist
• Detect and report any equipment malfunction
• Assist maintenance engineer and medical physicist in conduction and preventive maintenance services
• Conduct routine maintenance of radiotherapy equipment and its accessories
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the Radiation Oncology section
• Conduct daily chart rounds for verification of orders and check if prescribed dose are recorded properly
