Jeselle Gardoce

I am an experienced Spanish teacher in the international school community, dedicated to fostering student growth and confidence, with a strong passion for sharing my love of language learning and cultures. With five years of experience in the IB Diploma Programme, my students have consistently achieved results above the world average in IB Spanish examinations. I am eager to continue teaching within the IB community, but I am also open to learning other curricula and challenging myself in different programs.

Middle School and IB DP Spanish Teacher (Spanish Ab Initio and Spanish B) at Brent International School Subic (2024-08 – Present)

• Currently working as a Spanish teacher for Grades 6–12, I deliver engaging instruction in an international school setting, handling multi-level classes. I support students' language learning through differentiated learning experiences, while fostering cultural understanding and global mindedness. I also prepare students for the IB examinations.

Middle School and IB DP Spanish Teacher (Spanish Ab Initio) at Domuschola International School (2020-08 – 2024-07)

• Responsible for creating and implementing a Spanish curriculum for Middle school to IB students aligned with the International Baccalaureate Programme. I prepared IB students for the Spanish Ab Initio Exams and consistently achieved 100% passing rate.

Language and Culture Assistant at Ministerio de Educación de España (2017-10 – 2020-05)

• Prepared and implemented various activities that motivate student to learn and practice English while sharing and promoting multiculturalism.
• Immersed in the Spanish language and culture through participating in this government exchange program.

• Prepared and implemented developmentally appropriate activities for kindergarten students while implementing a variety of instructional methods (songs, dance, arts, games, etc) to foster students' abilities.
