I am a well driven individual who demonstrates dedication on duties and responsibilities assigned by the management. Well experienced in the customer service but is willing to explore more on the challenges and opportunities that will improve my skills which can bes used for the accomplishments and success of the office/company.
Currently I hold the position of Senior Tourism Operations Officer of the Philipine Department of Tourism Region IV-A. Some of duties and responsibilities are ensuirng the compliance of tourisn enterprises with the Department's standards by processing their application which includes evaluation of submitted documents and conduct inspection; handles complaints against tourism enterprises; conduct training and seminars for tourism enterprises which includes procurement of seervice providers, preparation of cost estimates, coordination with participants and speakers, facilitatin of actual tranings and seminars, and process of payments for suppliers and speakers; assists tourism stakeholders in queries on accreditation and other concerns. I also handle tasks under the Administration Unit such as processing of salaries of Job Order employees, handles the office and stockroom rental - renewal and paper works; handles the security services for the regional office; monitor the leave credits of regular employees and others.
Lastly, I am currently designated as Cashier and Diusbursing Officer that prepares the checks payment of the suppliers and utilities and required reports for submission to Commission on Audit.
I also have experience as an Executive Assistant for nine (9) years in the same office, from 2004-2013. My work included handling appointments of the Regional Director; prepared power point presentation; handled local and international travel of the Regional Director which includes, hotel reservation, passport and visa requireemnts etc.; provided staff assistance to the Regional Director during official travel within the region; managed the communication for the Regional Director's action.
Prior to working at the Department of Tourism, I have also worked in a boutique hotel for 1 year being a Guest Service Assistance assigned in the Front Desk. I was also became a reservation officer in a travel agency for 3 months.
Graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman Campus with the degree of Bachelor Science of Tourism. I have various trainings in customer service, tourism regulation and standards; and management
