- Handling customers' concerns and complaints
- Performing upselling of the menu and checking back with the guests for feedbacks
- Serving food and beverages
- Greeting, welcoming, and assisting customers
- Taking, repeating customers' orders and inputting of orders to the POS system
- Billing out and handling payments for guests
- Setting up the table based on customers' orders
- Bussing out and cleaning the guests' table
- Performing daily opening standard procedures such as arranging tables, polishing utensils, refilling table napkins, replenishing condiments, travel path, checking of endorsement and reports from the previous day
- Performing daily closing standard procedures such as daily sales report, endorsement of tasks, and travel path around the kitchen and dining area
- Basic floor management and checking of the quality of food before serving it to the guests
- Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the restaurant
- Accessing, interviewing, and examining applicants for the vacant position
- Training of newly hired employees or on-call staff
- Knowledgeable in terms of food cost, theoretical, variance, and par stocking
- Focus on monitoring inventory, keep track of inventory levels, conduct month-end inventory
- Ordering and receiving of stocks from local suppliers and warehouse, ensuring an adequate supply while minimizing overstocking, compare deliveries from orders to ensure accuracy and quality of products
- Checking, garnishing and dispatching of food in the kitchen area
- In-charge of inputting and checking of kitchen production report
- Maintaining the restaurant's standard procedure in daily operation
