Julia Maranan

I am an incoming Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts student at De La Salle University with a strong passion for communication, leadership, and community engagement. Throughout senior high school, I actively participated in leadership and volunteer initiatives, serving as a Retreat Leader, member of the Search-In Core Group, and facilitator for various projects and retreats. These experiences strengthened my communication, organizational, and teamwork skills while teaching me the value of service and collaboration.

Beyond leadership, I enjoy opportunities that allow me to connect with people, learn from different perspectives, and contribute to meaningful projects. I am eager to continue growing both personally and professionally, and I look forward to gaining hands-on experience that will help me apply my skills in a real-world setting while learning from industry professionals.

While I have not yet held a formal full-time position, I have gained valuable professional experience through internships, leadership roles, and volunteer work. During my work immersion at the Office of Sen. Binay, I was exposed to a professional work environment and gained insight into the day-to-day operations of a government office.

In addition, my experiences as a Search-In Core Group member, Retreat Leader, and project facilitator allowed me to develop skills in leadership, administration, documentation, event coordination, and teamwork. Through these roles, I learned how to work with diverse groups of people, manage responsibilities effectively, and contribute to initiatives that positively impact others.
