Assisting Stateroom attendant in servicing guest cabins, cleaning and organizing bathrooms and vacuuming carpets. Removal of trash and reporting any maintenance issues. Assists luggage operation during embarkation and debarkation. Driving forklift truck in loading and unloading of guest luggages and provision items.

Hotel Steward at Carnival Cruise Lines (2001-03 – 2002-11)

Assigned in public and crew areas, responsible for cleaning and sanitizing walls, handrails, bathrooms, elevators. Also assigned in lido deck or open deck to work as pool attendant where you have to maintain the cleanliness of pool areas and replenishing fresh towels, collecting soiled ones and sending to laundry. Watchkeeping in the pool areas as primary concerns for safety of guests using the slides.

Filling up water and draining it to scrub the floor inside and outside the swimming pool, to set up all the deck chairs, packing and unpacking as schedule. Also scrubbing of corridors floors and vacuuming carpets. Assigned to assist in luggage operation, embarkation and debarkation.

VSP Vessel Sanitation Program at Carnival Cruise Lines (2000-06 – 2001-01)

Responsible for chemical handling, usage of pesticide and proper storage. Monitoring the ship from existence of insects such as flies, bedbugs and application of treatments.

Galley Steward at Carnival Cruise Lines (1999-07 – 2000-03)

Maintaining the cleanliness of galley, cooking kettles, grill machine, floor areas. Also assigned in potwash and operating dishwash machine. Using 3 bucket cleaning system as required by USPH, red for water and soap, gray for rinse and white for sanitizing using 50 to 100 ppm of chlorine.
