Principal Engineer at Air Products (2020-05 – 2022-04)

Leads the CSA Discipline Team at the Dhahran Techno-Valley (DTV) Office in support of various projects of Air Products for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This includes supervision of team members in managing several contractors and sub-contractors doing the FEED and Detail Engineering Scope, coordinate with Air Products' Hersham & India CSA Team on technical issues to support on-going projects of the region.

• JUBAIL IG HUB – A program that showcase a fully integrated Industrial Gases Hub at the Jubail Industrial City, KSA that shall produce industrial gases (Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen) to be distributed through major pipeline network to customers within the region. The program is divided into several on-going projects: Early Works for Site Development & Laydown Areas – Assisted site construction group in the reviews and approval of civil and structural drawings for the construction of temporary facilities both at the plant site and laydown area. These includes development of construction roadways, access path and secondary roads, warehouses and contractors' offices.

Pipeline Network

Project– The network consists of 3 major pipelines namely: 20" diameter H2 pipeline, 18" diameter N2 pipeline, and 12" diameter O2 pipeline. Managed the completion of the FEED Scope. With the Detail Engineering Phase being started, shall manage the EPC Contractor for all IFC deliverables together with AP CSA Engineer to do project checking and quality control of deliverables.

Hydrogen Fueling Station

Project– This is a fueling station that is linked to the Jubail IG Hub Plant through a 5 kilometer pipeline within the Jubail 2 Industrial City. This is a JV with APQ (Air Products Qudra). Presently manages the topographical and geotechnical survey scope at site.

Shall be managing a selected EPC Contractor to do detail engineering scope of the fueling station. NGL (Natural Gas Line) for the GIIS (Gas Industries for Industrial Services Co.) & issuance of DBSP (Design Basis Scoping Paper) for Saudi Aramco involving the installation of a 16" diameter pipeline. Managed the completion of the FEED Scope.

With the Detail Engineering Phase being started, shall manage the EPC Contractor for all IFC deliverables together with AP CSA Engineer to do project checking and quality control of deliverables.

Underground Main Feeder Electrical Cable

Layout – This supply the main power requirement of the Jubail IG HUB Plant and shall consist of UG cable to supply 66.5 MVA expanded to 80 MVA maximum in the future with a total run length of approximated 5.5 kilometers. Scope involves managing a GES Contractor to perform detail engineering design for civil related scope (ie: cable concrete ductbanks, underground cable trenches, concrete cable splicing chambers, and horizontal directional drilling scope). All project specifications follows Air Products (AP) and Saudi Electric Company (SEC) for Civil and Structural deliverables.

JAZAN IGCC Civil Survey – Has been commissioned to participate in the development of survey activities and scope as well as providing recommendations to future rectification and retrofitting works where and when deemed necessary brought about by concerns with structural misalignments due to civil and structural settlements of concrete structures.

Principal Engineer at Fluor Daniel Philippines (2012-01 – 2020-02)

Leads the Project Team from performing the team's functions in all preliminary design studies, basic engineering design, front end engineering design & detailed engineering design scope of works and facilities. Manages the performance of the project team in terms of manhour targeted completion works and coordinates with other lead disciplines in terms of project checking and project scheduling works.

• CDU Heat Recovery Project - PILIPINAS SHELL PETROLEUM CORPORATION, Tabangao Refinery, Philippines (November 2018 to Present): Lead the CSA Team for the FEED Scope of Works for the retrofitting of various structural supports for Heat Exchangers and Pump Units affected by the revamp of CDU Process Area. Likewise, prepared preliminary plans for the installation of new Deepwell #6 including routing of new discharge pipe towards the refinery tank farm filling up existing fresh water tank.
• DOW Chemicals EDC Project – Houston Texas (January 2012 – October 2012): Lead the Project Team in the preparation of IFC Deliverables (Issue for Construction) consisting of Tank Farm Site Development Plan, Bundwall and drainage system, Roadways, Steel Piperacks and Slippers, Steel Pipe Bridge Crossings, foundations of product pumpsets and vessels, piling works both prestressed and auger cast in place piles.
• PETRONAS Saba LNG Regassification Project – Malaysia (April 2012 – December 2012): Lead the Project Team in the preparation of FEED Deliverables consisting of preparation of land development and land reclamation works, jetty product receiving facility, LNG Terminal Site Development Plan, LNG Tank foundation, Process Plant foundation, Steel Piperacks, roadway, fencing and pile driving works.
• BASF Petronas Chemical Plant (Lemongrass Project – FEED Stage) – Kuantan, Malaysia (December 2012 – October 2013): Lead the Project Team in the preparation of FEED Deliverables that would include site development and preparation plans, structural drawings and calculations for foundations and steel framings of piperacks, chemical plant, and related architectural drawings and data sheets. Involved in the preparation of technical specifications for EPC Stage.
• BASF Petronas Chemical Plant (Lemongrass Project – DETAILED ENGINEERING Stage) – Kuantan, Malaysia (November 2013 – May 2015): Lead the CSA Team for the preparation and submission of all Detailed Engineering scope for Structural, Steel, Piling, and Concrete Foundation. Management of the CSA Team to complete the detailed engineering scope on time and within budget. Conducted close coordination with BASF Representative with constant interaction.
