• Distributes clean and retrieves soiled instruments/equipment, rental equipment and other personal instruments of the physician
• Reconstruct patient care tray and instruments kits.
• Prepare packs of supplies, linens, and instruments as directed.
• Decontaminates, cleans, and processes all instruments and special equipment from surgery, obstetrics, patient units, and physician's offices.
• Practices infection control protocols in all tasks performed responsible removal of trash, both contaminated and non-contaminated.
• Communicates effectively problems or patient issues, any unavailable patient equipment or equipment malfunctions to the Manager of Central Sterilization Unit.
