Mark James Gonzales

I’m a cybersecurity student with a strong interest in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and security operations. I enjoy learning by building, testing, and breaking systems in controlled environments, and I regularly apply what I learn through CTFs, security labs, vulnerability analysis, and technical projects.

My experience spans both security and software development, including web application security, networking, system administration, programming, and database-driven applications. Through hands-on projects and CTF challenges, I’ve developed practical experience with tools and technologies such as Linux, Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Python, Java, PHP, Laravel, SQL, and Git.

I’m particularly interested in opportunities where I can work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real-world security projects, and strengthen my skills in areas such as penetration testing, SOC operations, vulnerability assessment, incident response, and application security.

I’m currently seeking a cybersecurity internship where I can apply my existing technical skills, learn from industry professionals, and contribute meaningfully to the team while continuing to grow as a security practitioner.
