Raymond Canela

I’m a 4th-year Computer Science student with a strong interest in Data Engineering, Backend Development, and Cloud Computing. I enjoy building systems that turn data into useful, reliable, and scalable applications.

My current focus is on Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, backend development, data pipelines, and cloud technologies. I have hands-on experience working with tools and technologies such as Git, AWS, Pandas, NumPy, Apache Spark/PySpark, and relational databases, while continuously expanding my knowledge of modern data and cloud infrastructure.

I’m particularly interested in learning how production systems are designed—from building backend APIs and working with databases to developing ETL pipelines, deploying applications, and working with cloud services.

I’m currently looking for an OJT/Internship opportunity where I can apply my technical skills, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to real-world projects. My long-term goal is to grow into a Data Engineer or Backend Engineer with strong cloud and distributed-systems skills.
