Cadet Engineer / Mechanical Engineer at Philex Mining Corporation (2010-04 – 2011-05)

• Plan and coordinate preventive, condition-based maintenance and corrective maintenance tasks based on equipment manuals and OEM requirements for LHD, LPT, Rock Breakers and Mine Hoists.
• Participates in the parts inventory management control to ensure enough inventory levels and avoid relatively high inventory level.
• Make a forecast and coordinate with procurement for the timely acquisition of parts and materials.

Research and Cost Control Engineer at Philex Mining Corporation (2013-05 – 2022-10)

• Conduct research, feasibility evaluation and recommendation with respect to mechanical related equipment and facilities.
• Monitors and analyzes productivity indices, operating maintenance costs, and economic life of component part or equipment as reference for economic evaluation to be undertaken.
• Consolidates and monitors cost reduction program. Prepares monthly cost reports with details of mechanical availability, productivity and material consumption.

• Supervises overall aspects of tire maintenance, repair and replacement for trucks or heavy equipment to ensure safety, efficiency and maximum useful life.
• Perform or administer inspections for wear, pressure and damage to ensure optimal tire performance and create necessary reports for client's information and disposition.
• Study and evaluate the cause of tire failures during in service operation and recommends action plans to reduce operating cost and downtime.
