Responsible for the Implementation of all safety measures in accordance with our local regulation Responsible in assessing, planning and implementing strategies to enhance Service operations and meet set goals for the department. Primary point of reference of the Assistant Service Manager, Coordinators on company policies and procedures. Assign functions to the Assistant Service Manager and overlooks at assignment given to Supervisors. Responsible for recommending improvements on existing operational policies and/or processes. Provide solutions to day-to-day issues which may hamper customer business operation. Provide escalated assistance twenty-four hours (24hrs) a day, seven (7) days a week on customer assistance. Review documents submitted by Technicians and Coordinators such as Spare Parts Quotation, Service Job Cards, Delivery Receipts, Request for Repair (RFR), Parts S.O, Invoices and other documents related to service. Overlook spare parts requisition are prepared and submitted immediately and monitor spare parts delivery and installation. Responsible for parts management/forecast in coordination with other departments such as Purchasing, Admin and Warehouse. Facilitate warranty claims and is responsible with the whole process until approval of the principal. Oversees that PMP schedules are carried out properly and on time. Monitor status of all rental units and ensure optimum up time in cooperation with rental coordinator. Forecast battery requirement for rental units in coordination with the Sales Manager or General Manager. Ensure that all off-site operations are adhering to set company standards and procedures. Visit off-site projects on a regular basis and provide recommendation for high level planning. Ensure that all the resources are well managed such as: service vehicles are operating productively along with Warehouse Officer; manpower are well groomed and productively engaged at all times; information are used effectively and disseminated to all concerned to achieve maximum results. Maintain good client relationship, attend to customer complaints, and come up with solutions to address challenges. Liaises with concerned departments to ensure that operations will deliver commitments to clients on time. Oversee the daily deployment of Service Technicians by the Assistant Service Manager.
Operator training – as needed. Conducts, organize training for Service Technicians to maintain high level of technical skills. Regular review of the Service Organizational chart vis-a-vis existing manpower. Recommend personnel actions, such as employee selection, evaluation,
rewards, or disciplinary actions to the HR department. Device and propose an incentive scheme/s for the technicians. Facilitate annual evaluation for the Service team and Coordinators. Conduct due process and implement appropriate disciplinary actions for technicians and coordinators who are proven to be in violation of company policies. (e.g., habitual tardiness, absences, disrespectful actions, etc.).
Ensure an open communication at all times and maintain the high level of confidentiality on critical issues. Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and data bases, both hard copy and electronic.
