The Department of Health (DOH) is the principal health agency in the Philippines. It is responsible for ensuring access to basic public health services to all Filipinos through the provision of quality health care and regulation of providers of health goods and services. Assigned with 3 out of 35 Barangays belonged to the city to handle and manage throughout the duration of employment.
- Conducted quality home visits and assessed the health needs of every household in the assigned Barangays
- Prepared health status reports of families/households visited
- Conducted disease surveillance (i.e. measles, dengue, typhoid fever,etc) and immediately reported to the main office (Surveillance Nurse) for verification and prompt response

Bais City Health Office is the Local Government Unit's health facility that provides basic medical services which are affordable, easily accessible, effective and efficient for the residents of the city. The Birthing/Lying-in clinic was added to the facility last March of 2016 which lessened the burden of the city's small hospital in catering to crowds of pregnant women, and decreased the high rate of traditional newborn delivery method through home deliveries assisted by unlicensed individuals without proper equipment and materials used.
- Filled-in Individual Treatment Record form for the patient including physical assessment, subjective and objective, and historical data before endorsing to the attending physician for consultation
- Performed vital signs (v/s) taking (i.e. blood pressure, pulse rate, respiratory rate, body temperature, height, and weight) from clients who would undergo consultation
- Performed Visual Acuity Test for clients requesting for a driver's license registration
