City was officially inaugurated on December 1978 with only 385 beds at first phase. Since then it has grown tremendously. It now includes the main hospital, the southwest corner and the new southwest corner extension with a capacity of 1200 beds. This hospital is also JCIA accredited. The Neurosurgery and Neurology Ward consists of 20 bed capacity. With 1:5/ 1:1 nursing ratio depending on patient's condition:

• Conducts an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing data collection based on adult or elderly patients' immediate condition or needs within timeframe specified by client's policies, procedures and protocols
• Develops plan of care that is individualized for the adult or elderly reflecting collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
• Performs appropriate treatments as ordered by physician in an accurate manner.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions as established by individualized plan of care for the patient
• Provides care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner and that is sensitive to the adult or elderly patients and family's diversity preserving their autonomy, dignity and rights.
• Maintains current competency in adult medical surgical nursing.

REMEDIOS TRINIDAD ROMUALDEZ HOSPITAL is a tertiary private hospital with 100 bed capacity. Serving also medical services for out-patients. The medical–surgical ward consists of 20 bed capacity with 1:20 nurse-patient ratio.

• Assessing patients, administering care, providing treatments and medications to patients to ensure that they are perfectly treated.
• Managing patients, taking care of their well being, maintaining medical facility in the best possible manner.
• Possessing adequate knowledge of surgical procedures and implementing them.
