The Role

We're looking for a full-stack developer to work on active client projects across web and backend. You'll work closely with the founder, who'll handle client relationships, scoping, and project direction — your focus is on shipping clean, reliable code.

This is a hands-on coding role. We want someone who can take well-defined tasks and execute them well, communicate clearly about progress and blockers, and care about the quality of what they ship.

What You'll Do

• Build features and fix bugs on active client projects (React, Angular, Next.js, Node.js)
• Work from tickets and specs prepared by the founder; ask good questions when something's unclear
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Provide clear async updates on what you're working on, what's blocked, and what you need
• Over time, grow into scoping work, leading features, and direct client involvement

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 2–4 years of full-stack experience shipping production code
• Strong in React and Node.js
• Working knowledge of Angular, or willingness to ramp up on it within the first month
• Comfortable with REST APIs, at least one major database (PostgreSQL or MongoDB), and Git workflows
• Good written & spoken English — most of our communication is async (Slack, GitHub, written updates)
• Curious, self-directed within scope, and reliable about deadlines
• Comfortable working with AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) as part of your daily workflow — not as a crutch, but as a multiplier

Nice to have:

• React Native / Expo experience
• TypeScript across the stack
• Familiarity with deployment workflows (Vercel, AWS, basic CI/CD)
• Prior agency or product company experience

• You write code you'd be comfortable with someone else reading.
• You ask questions when stuck instead of guessing for three days.
• You're honest about what's done, what's half-done, and what isn't started.
• You want to grow — both technically and into a larger role over time.
• You use AI tools well: you know when to lean on them, when to override them, and how to review their output critically. You're not pasting code you don't understand.
