Full Stack Software Engineer (Python / React)

We're Hiring: Full Stack Software Engineer

📍 Wapda Town, Lahore | Onsite

🕒 Timing: EST hours

Programmers Planet is hiring Full Stack Engineers to build a new requirements management platform. This is a brand-new product with built-in AI features, not maintenance work. The goal is an MVP/beta release by end of 2026, and development continues after that.

What you'll do:

• Build features end to end across React + TypeScript, FastAPI + Python, and PostgreSQL
• Design APIs, database schemas, and queries in a service-oriented architecture
• Write clean, well-tested code through fast iterations and code reviews
• Work with the solution architect, AI specialists, and client stakeholders, and keep them updated on progress and blockers

Must haves:

• 3+ years of professional software development with strong full-stack fundamentals
• Professional experience with React + TypeScript
• Professional Python backend experience, ideally FastAPI (strong Flask/Django is also fine)
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL: schema design, queries, performance basics
• Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code), plus the judgment to review and validate the code they generate
• Able to understand and communicate clearly with foreign clients in English
• Strong ownership of your work

Nice to haves:

• Experience shipping new products, MVPs, or beta releases
• Applied AI/ML experience in software engineering
• Service-oriented architecture experience
• Consulting or client-facing delivery background

Interview: Two rounds, about 30 minutes each
