Full-Stack Software Engineer — React, Next.js, Node.js & Python | Remote, Full-Time

We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer with strong experience in React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python to build, improve, and maintain modern web applications.

You will work across the complete software development lifecycle, including frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, databases, third-party integrations, testing, deployment, and production support.

This role is ideal for an engineer who can independently take features from requirements to production while collaborating effectively with product, design, and engineering teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Develop secure and reliable backend services using Node.js and Python.
• Create and maintain REST APIs, background workers, scheduled jobs, and third-party integrations.
• Design database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage migrations.
• Implement authentication, authorization, payments, notifications, analytics, and other product features.
• Integrate external services through APIs, webhooks, and OAuth.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Review code and contribute to architectural and technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot application issues and improve performance, security, and reliability.
• Deploy and maintain applications using Docker, cloud services, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Collaborate with distributed team members through clear written and verbal communication.
• Document technical decisions, workflows, APIs, and application behavior.

Required Qualifications

• Three or more years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience building and maintaining production full-stack applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with React and Next.js.
• Professional experience developing backend services with Node.js.
• Experience using Python for APIs, automation, data processing, or backend applications.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and system integrations.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or another relational database.
• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with automated testing and debugging production applications.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure coding practices.
• Experience deploying applications using Docker and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain productive in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building SaaS or multi-tenant applications.
• Familiarity with Express.js, NestJS, FastAPI, or Django.
• Experience with Redis, queues, background workers, and event-driven systems.
• Experience integrating payment providers, email services, analytics tools, or external platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or self-hosted infrastructure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and application observability.
• Familiarity with Docker Compose, Kubernetes, or infrastructure automation.
• Experience integrating AI APIs, automation tools, or machine-learning services.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-moving product environment.
• A strong GitHub profile, technical portfolio, or open-source contributions.
