Java Developer (Oracle Development)

Location: Onsite – Islamabad (Bahria Town Phase 7 )

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong Oracle development experience to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Java technologies and Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications.

Develop and optimize database solutions using Oracle Database.

Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.

Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications.

Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Provide technical documentation and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

3–6 years of experience in Java development.

Strong experience with Java (Core Java, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate).

Hands-on experience with Oracle Database (PL/SQL development).

Proficiency in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.

Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).

Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with microservices architecture.

Knowledge of front-end technologies (Angular/React) is a plus.

Experience in banking, telecom, or enterprise-level applications.

Oracle certification (OCA/OCP) is an advantage.
